Question asked to me through email - "does the UK have daylight savings?"

Answer: Yes, although we don't "fall" back. The Brits have never heard of fall -- it's autumn and apparently you can't "autumn back." So the useful phrase of "spring forward, fall back" is completely pointless over here.

Interestingly thought, in the spring "spring forward" is one week after the U.S. - so for one week, the time difference is six hours, not five.
